See No Evil street art show, Nelson Street, Bristol

27 Aug

I haven’t had a chance to check out the See No Evil art show yet, but I plan to this weekend, and here’s why…

Nelson Street in Bristol city centre has long been an eyesore – a jumble of shuttered buildings, car parks, and monolithic office blocks.

So local street artist Inkie, who recently did such an amazing job, creating a mural on the old lodge in Arnos Vale cemetery, gathered together some of the world’s finest artists, and set them to work transforming the street.

New York muralists Tats Cru and LA legend El Mac were among those who got involved, along with  artists from Holland, Brazil, France and more.

The work has the backing of the city council and other Bristol bigwigs, so it ain’t going anywhere.

I can’t wait to see it. Race you there!

Psssst. Can’t make it? Then check out this sweet vid!
